Get ready for a unique evening of ghost stories and Wabanaki Indigenous spirit tales as you explore the paranormal side of this beloved seaport village. Discover the deeply personal stories  behind Bar Harbor’s ghostly activity as you hear tales no other tours will tell. Your historically dressed guide will lead you through the darkening shadows, by blue lantern light, to several of the most haunted places in town, including three "hot spots" where our guests commonly capture pictures of orbs and full body apparitions as well as experience other unexplained phenomena. 

 

On a typical tour you will: 

• Visit places that are currently and actively haunted within the downtown.

• Hear at least a dozen stories of ghosts and "spirited" encounters.

• Learn about the different types of hauntings and why they occur.

• Listen to an Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) of a resident spirit.

• Visit the Old Burial Ground.

• Hear ancient Wabanaki Indigenous tales that may make you question every bump in the night.

 

Although we don't guarantee you will see a ghost you may be one of the lucky few to capture photographic images of orbs or apparitions in various tour locations.
